- people who are married, or about to marry each other (godparents cannot have sexual relationships, because in this case they are spiritual relatives).
However, there is one correction about people of a different faith. If you do not have close relatives or acquaintances of the same faith with you, but there is a person of another faith, whom you completely and infinitely trust, then he may well be your godfather crumb.
Your close relatives: grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles, sisters or brothers will also easily become godparents to the child.
