Modern style

The presence of smooth lines remains a mandatory element. Although it is now very difficult to abandon straight joints, they can be smoothed out with curved forms of fittings, lamps and other functional additions.

Furniture should also adhere to the principle of functionality. No flower-shaped chairs or animal-shaped tables. Smooth lines with rounded corners are especially characteristic of upholstered furniture. The upholstery should be done in muted, strict colors.

Modern style kitchen

The kitchen, decorated in accordance with the Art Nouveau style, is distinguished by thoughtfulness in every detail and a minimum number of decoration elements. Everything should be functionally and rationally organized. These main principles should serve as a guide to the choice of furniture and household appliances, as well as colors.

To create the effect of open space, it is useful to use smooth and shiny surfaces, metal and glass. Kitchen furniture should be made of modern materials; modern functional equipment should be provided to facilitate culinary work. The floor can be decorated using ceramic tiles, laminate or modern linoleum. The design of the ceiling can be done in any way that is in harmony with the overall interior of the room.

In the Modern style you can easily decorate kitchens of different sizes. For small kitchens, furniture should be placed along one wall or along two adjacent walls. If the kitchen area allows, then an excellent option would be to place furniture on an island or in a U-shape; you can place a large dining table in the center of the kitchen.

Living room in Art Nouveau style

This style is very suitable for organizing space in rooms of different sizes. To create space in a room, you will need a minimum amount of furniture and architectural details. For wall decoration, you should choose light shades of wallpaper with floral or ornate design. The Art Nouveau style is characterized by the use of light pastel colors, which very favorably sets off pieces of furniture in darker colors.

To add bright colors, you can hang abstract paintings or decorative panels on the walls. If funds allow, you can install interior doors with stained glass windows. It is better to decorate the windows with plain curtains on a wooden cornice that do not attract attention.

Modern style bedroom

The decoration of the room and the furniture should form a single picture; the main requirement in this case is functionality and interchangeability.
