Bedroom in modern style

This room interior is suitable for those who love luxury and want to demonstrate wealth, status and impeccable taste. The design elements of a classic bedroom have their own characteristics - all the details must be in harmony with each other and create an impression of refined elegance. The color scheme in such an interior should be kept in warm and light colors, and it is preferable to use only natural finishing materials (wood, crystal and bronze). Textiles and carpets must also be of high quality and only from natural fabrics.

It is reasonable to enrich the ceiling and walls with stucco moldings and other decorative elements. Furniture, and especially the bed, should be compatible with each other and belong to the same style. The head of the bed, necessarily large, should also be massive, decorated with carvings or rich inlays. Handmade décor items are considered especially valuable in the interior of a bedroom in a modern style.

And one more, the main accent of such a room is lighting. The light must be placed at least at three levels: upper (general), middle (floor lamps or sconces) and lower (table or floor lamps). The color of fresh greenery is the main color of Provence, therefore this particular shade is used in the decoration of the room. The decor of the wallpaper is almost always replete with floral prints, and the color scheme is chosen in soft, pastel tones. In the Provence style, the use of bright, flashy accents and contrasts is unacceptable.

When choosing wallpapers and textiles, remember that the floral print on them should not be bright - since the climate in the south of France is quite hot, slightly faded shades should prevail in the interior colors.

As for the decoration of the room, the floor should be covered with natural wood; it is permissible to use a small number of floor mats in a neutral shade, which will create the necessary coziness, but will not attract attention. Wallpaper should be textured, with "irregularities", the ceiling is matte, not attracting attention, so the use of stucco molding is unacceptable. The room, decorated in the Loft style, resembles an attic or storage room. It is characterized by rough elements of decoration and artificially aged objects. The Loft style takes its origin from the life of people who belong to art, are not rich, but want to live stylishly and modernly. Using their natural taste, these "artists" created truly stunning interiors, using only available materials at hand.

So what is it Loft style? The first, fairly obvious signs: high painted ceilings and bare, unadorned walls. The decoration of such an interior is kept in natural, cold colors, and decorative elements and accessories are either not used at all, or are present in small quantities. The main theme of this style is the desire to create a natural interior based on minimalism - this can be expressed in imitation of brickwork on the walls or ceilings, rough decoration of the room and the use of "simple" furniture.

Lighting should also be natural, panoramic windows are well suited for this. If the structure of the whole house does not imply the presence of beams, rafters or other industrial elements used to create the Loft style, they must be created artificially. Another element inherent in the Loft style is the combination of a bedroom with a bathroom.

Scandinavian style bedroom

The Scandinavian style of bedroom decoration is closer to the classics and always remains “timeless”. Since the style of the interior was founded in northern latitudes with a rather cool climate, its main feature is the need to increase the amount of natural light. To do this, in Scandinavian-style bedrooms, they use the simplest, open layout that does not darken the room, and prefer the installation of large windows.

The design of such an interior should be in light colors, especially for walls and ceilings. The necessary elements can be fur carpets, fluffy capes and paths with a national Norwegian ornament. The furniture used is functional, not too bulky and durable, not complicated in decoration.

Since the decoration of the walls is designed in a calm style, it is appropriate to use bright, decorative elements - handmade trinkets, ornamented bedspreads and curtains and, of course, live plants in painted pots. Bedroom in the style of minimalism

The minimalism style cannot be confused with any other, because its main difference is minimalism and functionality. There should be a minimum of paraphernalia in free space, and the room itself, decorated in this style, looks airy and weightless. The roots of this style go far back to Japan, so the furniture is selected appropriately: a low bed is placed on the podium; bedside tables without decor, wardrobes and screens are installed with the calculation of the capacity of as many things as possible.

Country Style suitable for people who value a kind of comfort, simplicity and peace. Country-style design (from the English word, translated as "village"), like no other, disposes to calm sleep and good rest. Nevertheless, it is difficult to create such an interior, since some necessary attributes have to be searched for a long time or made to order. Distinctive features of this design are: a wooden bed in a rustic style; carpets and bedspreads made from natural fabrics (homespun is best used); wicker furniture and many handmade accessories.

Naturally, in the decoration and decoration of the country style bedroom, it is necessary to use only natural materials of calm, natural shades, and the layout of the space should be thought out and executed as simply and freely as possible. Such a bedroom retains its original shade of antiquity for a long time, and the simplicity of the design gives the room a lively and real look.
