Cocktails with cognac
Cognac came to us from France. And the drink is named after the city in which Cognac was created. At what exact moment the drink was created, no one can say for sure. But the first mention of it was somewhere in the first century AD. Of the spirits, it is one of the most popular. All thanks to its soft taste and incredible aftertaste.
However, despite the fact that this drink is in demand, for a long time it was consumed only in its pure form. Then they began to dilute it with cola, but only to reduce its strength. It was only in the twentieth century that it gained popularity as a cocktail ingredient. Properly composed elements will only highlight the taste of cognac. And the drink itself will help you relax, but not get drunk.
Cocktails with cognac always stand out for their delicate taste and special aftertaste. Their composition can be very diverse.
Whatever cocktail you start preparing, you almost always need a blender or shaker (or simply a dish that you can conveniently shake with the drink). So before you get down to business, make sure everything is ready and in working order.

Cocktails with rum
Rum is truly a unique drink, one of the strongest. And, of course, the first association with its mention is the sea and pirates. And this is not without reason. Rum is the oldest drink. The origins of its production go deep into the past. Its production technology is complex. Once upon a time, this drink bathed some in luxury, and made others eternal slaves.
So why the pirate drink? It was these brothers who smuggled rum and sold it to sailors for a good sum. Which brought them quite a bit of benefit.
And the beginning of rum-based cocktails can be considered the rum and water that sailors drank. This is how they disinfected water that was not suitable for drinking. This is where it all started.
