Today, many beauty salons can offer a hair lamination service, but not everyone can afford it, and gelatin is quite affordable. In addition, the procedure is not very complicated and you can do it yourself at home.
For best efficiency, the procedure should be carried out as many times as you wash your hair, and a visible result will appear after 3-4 sessions. Laminating mix can be prepared from gelatin and live beer, a lighter version is presented below.
How to laminate your hair with gelatin:
- For medium hair, you will need a large spoonful of gelatin, three tablespoons of boiled water, and some hair conditioner. If the hair is long and thick, then it is necessary to increase the amount of water and gelatin, but at the same time adhere to a ratio of 1: 3.
- Pour gelatin into a cup and pour over heated water, stirring thoroughly. Cover with a lid and remove to swell for a quarter of an hour. Some people knead warm milk instead of water.
- Before the session, the head must be washed with shampoo and balm. Pat dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
- If the powder is not completely dissolved, heat it slightly in a water bath. But in no case bring to a boil, otherwise the mixture can be safely thrown away.
- Pour half a spoonful of your favorite balm to the gelatin, mix. The mass should be as thick as sour cream.
- After stepping back about an inch from the hair roots, apply the entire mass to wet curls. Make sure that the mixture does not get on the skin, unpleasant itching may appear.
- Wrap your head with a foil and a warm towel, warming your head with a hair dryer for about a quarter of an hour. Then wait another 50 minutes.
- Rinse off the mask with plain water, without using shampoo. Due to the balm, the mask can be washed off very easily.
Hair masks with gelatin 
- Coconut - soak a spoonful of gelatin powder in half a glass of heated water. After a quarter of an hour, pour three drops of ylang-ylang essential oil and a spoonful of heated coconut oil. Lubricate hair and leave for 60 minutes.
- Oil- in a water bath, heat a mass of equal amounts of gelatin, castor oil and burdock oil. Lubricate scalp and scalp for 45 minutes.
- Honey - mix gelatin and spoon honey, warm up in a water bath. Spread on hair and scalp for 35 minutes.
- FROM henna- stir the gelatin in water, after a quarter of an hour add the yolk, 6 drops of lavender oil, two tablespoons of henna and a spoonful of castor oil and burdock oil. Stir well and distribute through hair for an hour.
- With an egg - prepare gelatin by dissolving it in water and stir in the yolk to it. Hold the mixture for 45 minutes.
- From fat content - while gelatin swells, soak 100 g of black bread in half a glass of heated milk. Then mix a couple of tablespoons of gelatin, bread, a spoonful of lemon juice. Spread the mass on the scalp for 35 minutes.
- With fresh juice - stir a spoonful of gelatin in 3 tablespoons of juice. For light hair, you can use citrus juice, and for dark hair, use carrot juice. Warm up the mixture in a water bath, cool slightly and apply to the curls.
- For bulk - combine the yolk, a couple of tablespoons of water, a small spoonful of henna, mustard and gelatin. Warm up everything in a water bath.
- Mineral water mask - using a water bath, dissolve a spoonful of gelatin in three tablespoons of mineral water. Pour in some liquid vitamin A before applying.
- Milk - combine gelatin with milk in a 1: 3 ratio and heat the mass in a water bath.
- Almond - pour a spoonful of almond oil into the swollen gelatin and warm everything up with a water bath. Keep on hair for half an hour.
- Acetic - steam a spoonful of gelatin with three tablespoons of water, then add a spoon apple cider vinegar and 3 drops of lavender oil. Heat in a water bath.
- Milk-honey - dissolve a large spoonful of gelatin in a glass of heated milk, stirring in a spoonful of liquid honey.
