Dairy diet
The desire for a beautiful slim figure of many women leads to the fact that more and more diets are being invented. One of these newfangled diets is the milk diet, which from the very beginning of its inception promoted the rejection of all products except milk.
The essence of the dairy diet
Originally diet on milk assumed a duration of two weeks and nutrition exclusively with milk. But over time, its duration has decreased in order to reduce the likelihood of a breakdown and prevent the development of harmful consequences for health. In addition, other products were added besides milk. This diet can be used not only for weight loss, but also to improve your health. For example, it will be useful for healing from cardiovascular diseases, poor circulation, peptic ulcers and gastritis.
Milk and milk products contain many nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are required to maintain a healthy body. In addition, fermented milk products contain bacteria necessary for normal digestion, which are able to normalize digestion and improve metabolism. A cup of milk contains all the protein you need to keep your cellular structure healthy.
Dairy diet for weight loss
Since this principle of nutrition still applies to mono-diets, you should not adhere to it for a long time. Not worth keeping this diet longer than 7 days, and even less is better. Most often, a milk diet is kept for only 3 days.
It is best to build your diet on milk with a high percentage of fat. The ideal product for a dairy diet is whole homemade milk, which is available on the market. If you do not have this opportunity, then buy milk that has not been pasteurized for too long. In such milk with a low degree of pasteurization, all useful substances are preserved to a greater extent. Take milk with a fat content of more than 5%. Low-fat milk is not suitable for this diet, since there are practically no nutrients left in it.
Diet on milk is not suitable for everyone:
- First of all, it is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to dairy products.
- Also, do not overuse this diet for kidney disease.
- Excess weight over 10 kg.
Compared to other weight loss systems, the dairy diet has several positive aspects:
- Since milk contains a lot of protein, it does not cause a decrease in muscle mass and does not negatively affect your physical condition.
- Saturation of milk with calcium contributes to the early achievement of results, weight goes away faster.
- Since at this time you will be eating exclusively liquid food, there will be no active load on the gastrointestinal tract, which is also useful for reducing fat mass.
However, with all the advantages, a diet based on dairy products cannot be devoid of disadvantages:
- This tough mono-diet and without proper motivation and willpower is very difficult to withstand.
- Milk does not contain fiber, so it cannot be kept for a long time, so as not to create problems with the health of the gastrointestinal tract.
- A large number of milk products can cause indigestion, degeneration of the intestinal microflora and various problems with the gastrointestinal tract.
There are several nutritional options for this diet. The first option is the most severe and involves eating exclusively with milk. The diet in this case lasts three days... The first meal should be at 8 am and the last meal at 8 pm. Each meal should consist of a glass of milk. On the first day, you must drink a portion of milk with a break every 2 hours. On the second day, this interval is reduced to one and a half hours, and on the third day, you need to drink milk every hour.
Another option involves more variety in the diet. Here you can no longer limit yourself to milk, but include additionally fermented milk products.
For example, breakfast will consist of a glass of low-fat kefir. Then comes the second breakfast of 150 g of low-fat cottage cheese. For lunch, it is recommended to eat a cottage cheese casserole and wash it down with a glass of kefir. An afternoon snack should be limited to a glass of milk. And for dinner, you are allowed to eat 1 toast and supplement it with a portion of milk or low-fat yogurt.
