Cookies - how delicious they are! Rarely does a tea party go without this simple product. And when it is prepared with your own hands, it is both tasty and pleasant. There are different types of cookies: shortbread, butter, puff pastry. In this article we will tell you how you can make delicious puff pastry and cookies from it.

Yeast-free puff pastry recipe

Puff pastry is always difficult.  You can, of course, buy ready-made ones in the store.  But it is its own.  Full confidence that there are no chemicals or enhancers stuffed into it gives a plus thousand to the taste.

To prepare yeast-free puff pastry you will need:

margarine 800 g;

  • two eggs;
  • tsp salt;
  • vinegar 2 tbsp. (five percent);
  • water
  • flour 1 kg.

  1. Once everything has cooled down, remove the food from the refrigerator. Prepare your work surface.
  2. Pour the flour onto the table.

  4. Break two eggs into a deep container, add vinegar and salt. Then pour in another four hundred milliliters of water. Stir.

  6. Do not knead the dough too much. Gather it into a ball and divide it into two equal parts. Wrap each one in cling film (cellophane) and refrigerate for two hours.

Yeast puff pastry recipe

To prepare you will need:

half a kilo of flour;

  • butter (margarine) 400 g;
  • milk 300 ml;
  • package of yeast (dry 11g);
  • sugar tbsp;

  1. First of all, the dough is prepared. To do this, add a spoonful of sugar to one hundred milliliters of milk. Preheat the milk. Stir and add yeast. Mix again, cover and place in a warm place for ten minutes. This should be enough for the yeast to rise. There is a little trick: you can just warm the milk a little in the microwave so as not to wait.
  2. Add a glass of flour to the milk. For an airier dough, sift first. Stir and leave in a warm place for an hour. After a while you will see how the dough has risen.

  4. The next step is to gradually add flour, stirring constantly.
  5. Then add fifty grams of butter (margarine) to the mixed dough.
  6. Now it's time to knead the dough. This is done for at least ten minutes. It should turn out smooth, elastic and under no circumstances stick to your hands.
  7. Form the dough into a ball, put it in a bowl, cover it with film and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  8. Take butter (margarine), it should be soft, but not too soft. Transfer it to parchment, cover with another sheet and roll out. Place it in the refrigerator and take it out ten minutes before working with the dough.
  9. Prepare your work surface by dusting it with flour. Take out the dough and place it on it.
  10. On the resulting coma, make a cross-shaped cut, a couple of centimeters deep, and stretch the ends to the sides to make a square. Sprinkle it with flour and roll it out. One centimeter thick.
  11. Now it's time for the oil layer. Place it on the far side, leaving a few centimeters from the edge. Cover the third portion with the side of the dough closest to you. Shake off excess flour and fold the loose edge over the folded edge.

  13. During the time that you rolled the dough, it, of course, had time to heat up. Therefore, it must be put in the refrigerator for an hour. To do this, roll the dough into three layers, overlapping each other.   Wrap with cling film and you are ready to remove.
  14. After a while, take out the dough; if it has risen in the refrigerator, don’t be alarmed, it should be so. Then roll it out again to a centimeter, fold it into three layers and roll it out again. After these simple procedures, roll the dough and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Walnut ears

To prepare puff ears you will need:

  • yeast-free puff pastry 300 g;
  • walnuts 200 g;
  • protein 1 piece;
  • honey, sugar to taste.   The nuts are ground using a blender or coffee grinder. Sugar and egg white are added to them and everything is mixed.
