  • salt and spices to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Cover the chickpeas with water, add a spoonful of baking soda and leave for 12 hours. This is done to make the chickpeas easier to boil, because the product is dry enough.
  2. After this time, rinse the beans, transfer to a saucepan and cover with clean water. In a proportion of 1 part chickpea and 4 parts water.
  3. Put on low heat, cover and simmer for about 2 hours. The water should evaporate almost completely, and the product itself should become soft. Do not pour out the remaining broth, it will come in handy.
  4. At this time, do the dressing sauce.
  5. Put the zira in a frying pan and fry over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. The seeds should become fragrant.

How to cook:

  1. Dip the basil leaves in boiling water for 20 minutes.
  2. Rinse them immediately with ice water.
  3. Place in a blender and add the rest of the ingredients. Whisk.
  4. The oil should be added gradually to taste. So is lemon juice.
